Hi purchased a C3 2012 1.4 Hdi last Tuesday..... RHand brake light is not working, i replaced the bulb odd both RH & LH are different bulbs, lugs on the RH are offset not 180 degree apart and not at the same height as the LH bulb which looks like a regular old clear bulb with lugs at same height and 180 deg apart.
The bulb socket/holder/connector/ where you put the bulb appears to be not broken or badly corroded.
All the other lights work including the RH cluster lights just RH rear bulb/light not working and i would be very grateful for any advice
where are the fuses or fuse located? as there is nothing in Citroen C3 Owners manual that comes with the car.
Regards
Kenneth

According to the handbook, on page 150 it gives both rear tail/stop bulbs as P21/5w so they should be the same and be clear bulbs with 2 filaments. The bulb holder should have 2 contacts for the bulb so it looks as if somebody has fit the wrong type of bulb.
On pages 155 to 159 it lists the fuses and shows their location but does not list anything about the rear lights. If after fitting the correct bulb the light still does not work you might need a wiring diagram, if you post your VIN admin may be able to provide the relevant bit.

Thanks Paul, Sorry for above post, i got completely mixed up, i was looking at the completely wrong bulb, the rear RH fog lamp, I confused me and the people at the shop, anyway all good
i replaced my RH Stop/tail bulb, 2 filament P21/5w and all working, i was trying to check fuses, then connectors for break/corrosion etc reading online, thinking auto electrician.
Simple bulb replacement, however correct bulb. Apologies to any who read . I am not very good with cars. But twitchy as i purchased a newer car not realing knowing, but good fine for now. Kenneth
