Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hello from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Unread post by Ttron »

Hi all.

Lifelong fan of Citroen cars here, with a liking for other French marques too.
I was 'given' a 1937 Tracion Avant (15CV?) in the 70s to 'play with' when I was about 10. It had been off the road for many years and was basically scrap, but my Dad & I actually managed to bring it back to life (briefly...) - boy did I learn a lot about cars on that one!
Since then I've had Talbot Alpine & Horizons, BX (numerous), AX, ZX, C3, Xantia, Synergie (Evasion on the continent), Berlingo, various Renaults (including a 16 which I adored!), I presently own a C4 auto and a Partner Teepee.
As you might imagine I have spent a fair bit of time over the past 50 years with a spanner in my hand although I am not a mechanic as such, I'm more at home at the work bench with a soldering iron.
I look forward to helping by sharing my limited knowledge and hope to gain some too!
The current C4 will be the subject of my next post.

Cheers!
