The car is auto. No real probs, just a few odd times there are minor glitches.
e.g. Wing mirrors sometimes fold in when car is locked. Maybe one or the other, maybe both, maybe neither.
Reversing camera slow to open; slow (15sec) to close.
Auto dipping headlights will decide that night not to work. Other nights ok.
Might sound trivial, but the question is: can I "reset" the car's computer by disconnecting battery for (say) 10 mins? Any precautions?

Yes, there is a BSI reset procedure, that could cure most problems. Search the forum for BSI reset procedure.
However, how old is your battery? Weak battery could cause alsorts of small electrical problems.
