I sent it to someone (I won't name them) on the CCC Facebook pages who said he could sort it for me so that it would work with her C4 as with my older version of Diagbox all I could do was VIN code it.
When he received the unit he told me that it didn't boot up and needed a new chip on the board which was replaced but it took over 2 years for me to get the head unit back from him.
Eventually I got the unit back then when I connected it to the C4, none of the buttons on the control panel work. Looking at it, I think it's still configured for the DS3 that it came out of rather than the C4. I've managed to code the VIN into it using my Diagbox but I'm at a loss as to how to get it coded to the C4. Apple CarPlay works and I can use that but as none of the buttons work, accessing any of the other built in features is impossible.
It's been sitting on my shelf here for 18 months now and I'd like to be able to install it in the car for her like I said I would when she bought the car.
The C4 it's going into already has DAB and the unit I've bought also supports Nav so I've upgraded the panel in her car with the Nav button and I've also bought a GPS receiver for it so I'd really like to just finish it off.
If anybody has any suggestions on how I can get it configured then I'm all ears
