BX A/C Update

Post by bernie »

All going to plan EXCEPT changed cylinder head of Pug 405 pump for the head off my pump (to keep the same pipes) BUT I need a 7 cylinder head gasket and they only keep 5 cyl. jobbies,[:(!] Oh bugger.[}:)]
They have ordered some for delivery tomorrow[:)]
So it's a bit close to call whether the weather[:D] will be hot and sunny (forcast)[8D] or the new millenium ICE age begineth[}:)]

Yes, it is in my red car.
(The two unions under the TX valve. Drips of oil after a month. I've cleaned it up and left the cover off so I can inspect it and view the seepage.)

Tom,
Just have a close inspection of the TX valve & be sure it's not coming from the bellows at the top of the valve as they have a nasty habit of splitting around the seam
