Coolant temp sensor ohms v temp readings

Hello
Does anyone know or point me in the right direction of the ohms v temp readings for DS3Dstyle 2012 vti 120 coolant temp sensor.
I have a temp issue on my car and did suspect the sensor but I have around 6 ohms at room temp so I'm not sure now if its the thermostat which is in the housing.

A search suggests resistance goes down from about 4000 ohms as the temperature increases to about 300 ohms when hot so I suspect your temp gauge is showing max (or a fault message) but you could mention what your problem is. https://autoditex.com/page/engine-coola ... 0300%CE%A9.
