Service light engine fault

Hi my wife’s c3 1.6 hdi air dream 2013 has developed a fault. Orange service light followed by beep and engine fault on screen, I changed battery as forums said but still on? It’s stop go model? Saturday when using it cleared and eco info came back on but when braking or taking foot off throttle it came back on only to clear again on acceleration? This morning same again but this afternoon service light back on? Any ideas? Cheers

Need to get it scanned to find out what it's upset about.

Anybody in the north east area got a scanner? Or which one do I need? Cheers
