P1645 / Cruise control not working peugeot 207

Unread post by UltraBoban »

Hi everyone, hope everyone is well!

New to the forum, I joined for some desperate advice on a Peugeot 207 cc from 2006.

I have a Peugeot 207 cc from 2006 with a 1.6 HDi engine of 80kw.
I decided to do the installation of the cruise control and I bought an original (not from AliExpress) handle with limiter and cruise control. I checked for a 4 wire brake sensor and it is on my car. I successfully activated the cruise control via launch diagnostics.
At first only the cruise control was activated and it did not work. It appeared on the display, however, when you activated it below 50 km/h, it would show on the screen that it could not be activated (which is expected), but when you were in fourth or fifth gear and when you activated the cruise control at a speed greater than 50 km/h the two dashes on the display (--) would just flash.
Then I tried lever from my Peugeot 308 2009 on the Peugeot 207 and vice versa to eliminate the option of the lever not working, and both worked on the 308 and none on the 207.

I had the check engine light on due to permanent errors P1351, P0409, P2143, P2408, P0104 and intermittent errors P0490 and P0704.
To solve some of them, I cleaned the MAF sensor and turned off the dpf and egr software.
After that, the check engine light did not light up in the car, but by scanning the errors, I get error P1645 (Vehicle speed limitation. Coherence between point of resistance and accelerator pedal position), which is permanent.

Then the cruise control and limiter are activated via launch and both appear on the display. The limiter works when I turn it on, but when I'm driving and suddenly hit the gas it turns off (which is expected), bur then the limiter stops working and can't be started again, it starts behaving the same as the cruise control (two dashes -- just flashing) until I turn off the car and start it again, then it resets. If I turn limiter off on the cruise control lever after activating it, then it can be activated again unlike when I turn it off by accelerating hard. As for the cruise control, it still doesn't work, but only flashes two dashes.
Do you have any advice on what I should do to get the cruise control working as it still doesn't work...

It's likely that the throttle pedal you have doesn't support the limiter function - try enabling only the cruise and see if that makes it work.

It was only cc at first, it behaved the same then as now.
