An sticking this question here as its not vehicle specific.
DCT transmissions, do they use the clutch and flywheel as a normal manual transmission, all the info states they have two clutches within the gearbox?

Well dual clutch transmissions are dual clutch... However, the Citroen EGS box is not - it is essentially a manual box with (a single) manual clutch operated by hydraulics. The DSG box that VW use is a 'good' example of a dual clutch transmission.
