Kadjar update

So I bought a new to me Renault kadjar on a 16 plate..... downloaded the my Renault app and tried to connect it, I can't. Contacted Renault and it seems that, with the end of 3g, I cannot even update the sat nav, bit annoyed about it to be honest....I swapped my Renault laguna for it, and that had an sd card with the maps on it, but this is all built in and cannot be updated... woman I spoke to said they plan on doing some map updates in the future but had no idea when.....I think that's quite poor for a car that's only 8 years old...... is there any other way that the maps can be updated..... also, the app gives me a different registration number, which doesn't exist on the. Gov website, my reg is right and she tried to explain why it was different but it didn't make sense. The reg on the app shows a reg with a 14 plate not 16.... weird

A late registration perhaps. Probably sat in a dealer's yard for ages.
Maybe you could find the DOM from the RPO#
