I am working on a fun little side project - running the RCC A2 radio without an actual car
. But in order to do this I need some wiring diagrams first. I was able to find a pinout for the actual main unit, but I need to actually figure out how the buttons and the display get connected as well.I am thinking of getting the unit from a Citroen C3 and the display and buttons from a Peugeot 3008 - only because the used prices are good for those.
I am assuming that the LVDS cable from the main unit to the display is straight connection - so pin 1 on one side goes to pin 1 on the other, ... But if anyone has an actual wiring diagram/pinout I would be very happy.
The more important question - button panel for the radio. Does anyone have wiring diagrams for that (mainly for Peugeot 3008 II - P84)?
The main thing I am wondering is - are the buttons connected via CAN, or do they speak LIN and they get connected through some additional module. If so... which one?
I tried getting this information from service box, but for some reason my account is "under review" and I cannot purchase the 1 hour subscription to actually get the diagrams.
