C4 Picasso 2007 heater fan

Hi all, I have recently inherited a 2007 C4 Picasso 2.0 Diesel Automatic with 42000 miles and full service history.
The problem I have is that the heater blower is not working, the lights on the panel (R/H side next to door) are all working and you can change the fan speed on the switch (green lights on display) but the actual fan is not working, does anyone have an idea of what I should be looking for?

Often when the blower does not work it is the blower speed resistor pack that has failed, this was the case on our Cactus. A search suggests they do not cost much for your car.
