2010 Citroen C5 3.0 V6 Diesel None Start

Hi. I have a 2010 Citroen C5 3.0 V6 Diesel that broke down last night on the motorway. I called the AA who recovered me from the motorway and he initially said it was a fuel pump issue. However when he was try to start the car with brake cleaner the suspension started raising and lowering on it own. Would this be more of an electrical issue rather than the fuel pump?

Not really as it would fire up on easystart then stop when its burnt off, try taking the main fuel line off to see if diesel is going into the fuel filter , if not then the pump in the tank has gone . OR easier still if you can gain a way to the loom that plugs on to the fuel pump sender get the readings (ohms) tested & see what its reading. If im wrong someone on here will advise . Sorry if it dont help , but i did this with a car of mine and my pump was dead, also check the camshaft sensor ive had one that became unplugged and the engine fired into life with easy start but once used stopped running if you can pop it in a diagnoistics that may help .
