Hi,
driver window motor packed in, switch appeared to be fine and the motor responded, but wouldn't move the window.
Passenger window and both switches were fine.
I fitted a new motor and regulator, this immediately went to full extension when connected and the switch wouldn't operate.
I've replaced the full switch unit (including mirror adjust and locking button) and the drivers switch doesn't operate with the new motor, the passenger side goes down whichever the button is pressed on drivers door switch, but operates normally on the passenger switch.
The old motor works when connected to the new switch but in one direction only.
I assume a relay will either work, or not rather than having this effect?
Plugs are all directional so there's no chance of reverse polarity etc.
Everything gets power, LEDs illuminate so it doesn't seem like a wiring issue.
I've read accounts of a control unit in other vehicles which seems it could be the case, but can't find anything for a Relay van, just the regulator which is new?
Officially stumped, does anyone have any suggestions please?
Cheers,
Chris
