I have been frustrated in trying to register myself into Berlingo forum, in the registration screen I can get no further than the security question which follows the "I am not a robot". I fail to understand what is being asked for, having tried every input that I can think of. Has anyone perhaps an explanation to clarify what is being asked for, am I being totally thick or not?

Re: Joining Berlingo forum
What sort sort of security do you have on your computer? This might be stopping the process. If you are using a privacy focused browser such as Brave this might also be objecting.

Re: Joining Berlingo forum
Hi, thanks for reply, though I don't think the issue is security on my laptop as the response I get is "security question answered incorrectly" or similar.

I get this with Brave, pretty standard question
A bit hard to see on the laptop screen so tried zooming in. Better.
Still a bit blurry though.

I read somewhere that it isn't necessarily a matter of getting the answer correct but the manner in which you answer the question. I suppose if you get all correct within a fraction of a second this shows you're not human, whereas if you have pauses of different lengths that shows you are.

Re: Joining Berlingo forum
We've had a few enquiries about this Forum recently - specifically logging in or registering and no contact responses - but we can't answer for them as it's not our Forum. But if there's an issue with the board, and it's not accepting log ins or new registrations, then it won't matter how many times you correctly complete the image capture.

Re: Joining Berlingo forum
Hi all, thanks for replies, but the issue I am having is not the pictorial(I am human) response, but follows after correctly responding to it. There is final section something like- 'Please answer the question provided- used to prevent automated responses' viz- '(Enabled)Berlingo- write the 5th and 6th letters as displayed and write after- at the end:' with a box for your response. One can if wished go to the berlingo forum site , then under registration view this section without having to actually register- quite a conundrum to understand!

Re: Joining Berlingo forum
I was just doing a dummy registration so didn't get that far but as Marc says, if they are not responding it looks like a lost cause.

It's a bit weird - the forum is active (I'm on there), but the user reg does seem to be problematic..
I'll point this out to them again.

I've emailed and PMd Apollo twice now , he's the one that sorts out these things .
For some reason the last account was activated 10/10/24.
Just have to wait and see what happens.,
