Will not rev above 2000rpm in reverse

Hi please help I have a ds3 1.6hdi . 100.000 miles great little car . Runs great just the other day I reversed of my drive on a small hill and it would not rev above 2000rpm .. put it in neutral and all was fine again drives forwards in all gears great and revs fine. Just when I select reverse gear, it will not rev above 2000 RPM. so I disconnected gearbox switch and the car revs fine in reverse and all is good but I have no reverse lights or assist parking. When I reconnect the gearbox switch and select reverse. It will not rev above 2000 revs no EML lights on only codes in the ECU. Are to do with turbo position and adjective in tank, but these have been on the ECU for months and does not make the car drive any different. This was just a sudden thing that happened the other day in minus temperatures and still does now I have rang one or two Citroen dealers and they have never heard of it. Please can someone help? It has only just started doing it . Not revving above 2000revs when put into reverse never done this b4 .. I could revers of the drive on a slope very well now it won’t pull the car up the slope in revers .. thanks John it’s like it’s limited in the last day ..
