Hi all,
This is my first Citroen it's a C3 Picasso 2013, had to swap cars as needed more accessibility for my disabled daughter.
I have 2 questions.
1. Can I buy side bars to fit my car, to help her get in and out, or advice on what can use.
2. I've connected my phone to the car and I can make and receive calls, but when I use my sat Nav on the phone it doesn't come through the speakers no matter if volume up, radio on or off, yet it won't talk through the phone itself either. I have a redmi note 11 pro (not sure if relevant or not)
Thanks in advance

Hi Kirsty.
First I would need the VIN to see what Head Unit you have fitted in the vehicle. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.
My assumption based on the year and without your VIN, is that you won't have a telematics system, so likely an RD4 with or without Bluetooth hands free kit. This being the case, then Bluetooth will only provide phone call capability and possible Bluetooth Music streaming. It will not allow any audio output from any other apps on the phone. For this, you would need a later system like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, which your vehicle is too early for most likely.
As for the bars, I highly recommend you speak to a mobility specialist that can advise you, as they will know what is safe (structurally) to fit and if / where they can be fitted, as each vehicle is different and it is essential that the safety aspects of the vehicle safety cage are not compromised.
Have you considered a Motability vehicle? The new Berlingos have oodles of room and access (my sister has just had hers).

Where do I find the vin number?
This is a mobility vehicle, just they no longer needed so sold it.

The VIN can be obtained from the outside lower left (passenger side) windscreen corner. There is a cut out that has the VIN and it will Start with a V and be 17 alphanumeric. Or you can locate it on your V5 vehicle registration form.
