All,
I bought a e208, couple of years back. Recently i noticed, that front right window is not going down and so is the back left window. Other two windows are working fine.
My initial suspicion was that it will be switch issue. So I "hastily" ordered another switch and tried replacing it. The issue still remains even with replaced switch. I say its hastily, because when I tried the individual switch for the back left window on the back door, the window was not working. So may be I made a hasty decision of ordering that part. Anyway now 39GBP is gone. I was trying to diagnose what could be the problem. I thought, this could be related to fuse. But when i searched for fuse diagram (May be I misread this), there is one fuse for both front windows and another for both back windows. So probably this is not a fuse issue, as one window on either side is working. Now i am down to two potential possibilities,
Possibility 1: Wiring issue
Possibility 2: Motor failure
Both of which I beileve needs to trip to the dealer.
Possibilities ruled out:
1. Not a fuse issue
2. Not the switch issue
I have couple of aspects, I request your help
1. Is my diagnosis, i did so far right?
2. Is there other potential issues
3. I am based on Stirling in Scotland. The Dealer in Stirling is a new dealer and they are super slow response wise. For some reasons, they are always booked and appointments are like 2 months out and they take another 1 month for any parts. Any dependable Peugeot places, you recommend near Stirling, Glasgow oor Edinburgh will be helpful.
Thanks,
E208, Front right Window and Back left Window motors not working

Re: E208, Front right Window and Back left Window motors not working
I suspect your issue is related to the door aperture wiring on the driver's door.
Constant opening and closing causes wires to become brittle and they ultimately break. You need to remove the grommet type tube / protection and examine the condition of the wires (note the sleeve may be intact but the wire may be broken internally). Usually you can see a break and this is the most common reason.

I would go along with Marc's suggestion I had a similar problem on a Xantia I had years ago, there was a broken wire in the door loom.
