As above. I'm now left with the remains of the front ABS sensor stuck in it's hole, flush....solid.
Any tricks to get the sod out without taking the hub off?
It's been painted with diesel and hoping some gets in but not holding my breath.
Cheers

I’ve had that with my C6. I just drilled it out. As the sensor is mostly plastic there is little chance you damage the hub.

Drill out; self tap screw and then pull out with a slide hammer; any other destructive means you can come up with!

Re: Stuck ABS sensor (407)
Thanks chaps. Thought about drilling it out but didn't want debris in there. Going for a similar method to yours Richard after finding this
Will let you know how it goes
Thanks again

Re: Stuck ABS sensor (407)
Update....not a chance in hell
Bent the coach bolts trying to lever it out.
Look at the bend on that.
I'll drill the sod out tomorrow. I'm not worried about the bearing or hub, more the debris taking out the new sensor.
If the hub needs to come off I'm tempted to change the bearing at the same time. It may be the bearing that has thrown the fault then it all has come apart again. Bit like changing a perfectly good water pump when a cam belt change is done.
When I did my Dispatch bearing the sensor was just as stuck. Had to drill out as much as possible then punch the remainder in, then clean it up. Not a problem if the hub is on a bench.
The idea of blow torching the screw was very good though. They never felt like they were going to come out stripping the sensor's homemade thread.
