605 fan (again!!)

i disconnected all 3 different coloured plugs near the thermostat housing and the fan is still going non stop with the ignition on.

try looking around the bottom of the radiator,have a look also at the
fan main power cable see if it leads you to the sensor.

Hi
The fan is the brown plug, It WILL run if you have the sensor unplugged, its a saftey feature.
Because you have the brown plug disconnected the fan thinks the sensor is faulty and WILL run all the time to stop the engine overheating, Its a Peugeot / Citroen safety feature.
Check the fuses inside the car and see if any have blown, this can cause the fan to run.
