C8 follow me home
Hello everyone. I recently got a Citroen C8 2.0 hdi 135 2012. Me and my family are loving the car and we are still learning about it. The previous owner did not take good care of the care so it haves some issues. One of them is bugging me : the follow me home feature which it's would help me especially now in the winter. The folow me home feature is activated and the lights are on auto but it does not work. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

When you activated the feature in the vehicle menu, did you also select the time period (15, 30 or 60 seconds)?
If you did this then it may likely be that your car's battery is insufficiently charged or too old. If the battery is over 5 years old it should be replaced. This feature may be disabled when the battery has insufficient charge so as to help prevent the vehicle from non being able to start.
The car's battery loses capacity to hold a charge over time as it ages, so will be able to hold less charge for less time.

Yes. I selected from the meniu 30 sec. I don't know how old is the battery but it works perfectly. The car starts perfectly and rapidly in the cold -6 degrees now.
