Hi, I've got the older style dispatch 2015 model and with that I was able to take the DFP/CAT off the front of the engine, split it in half and clean out the DPF dead easy, I also had a copy of diagbox and was able to reset it so as yet no more problems.
However we also have the newer model Dispatch (1.6HDI Blue), 2017 onwards and its now showing the same symptoms, warning messages and occasionally going into limp mode although stopping and starting seems to get out of that for a few days. But looking under the bonet the CAT/DPF seem a smaller unit to the old one, is this just the cat and is the DPF now located under the van on the newer models. Also if I do take it off and clean it will it need re-setting electonically, the mileage is about 150K.
I watch a lot of Jimmy O'reiley Autos video's on Youtube and he always seems to have good results cleaning DPF's in situ, is this worth a try.

Re: 2017 Dispatch DPF blocking
No idea as to where the parts are but as far as I understand all thing DPF it will need to be replaced/reset in the ECU.

Peter, I will need the VIN of the later van to confirm the type fitted if you want me to assist.
