hi
my dad has just purchased an xm 2.5td and was about to change the oil, can any one confirm that it takes 8 litres of oil?

According to XM manual for (´95 on) 2.5TD (DK5ATE) :
7.5L w/o filter change
8.0L w/ filter change
3L between min-max dipstick markings
note :
72Kmiles/120Kkm cam & balance axle belts replacement interval
