What's the VIN - I'll check the recommended oil as these can change... Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

How many miles has the engine done ? Since the oil and filter change did not make a difference it could be the oil pressure switch is faulty but you could check its connector. If not the pressure needs checking in case the oil pump is worn or bearings are worn. Hopefully the switch since this would be a cheap and quick fix.

The engine has just done 100000 miles I purchased with genuine 44000 had a full service evey year as with out van no work nowork no money joys of self employed carpenter. The last service was 3mths ago and I had a oil filter change 3 days ago I watched mechanic so I know was all correct proble with this van is filter is a sod to get to so I bet that over time the oil may have change but not the filter. Over 40 years of old vans/cars I've had I use to change my own oil and filter and also do a proper engine flush as in drain screw plug back empty old filter re fix then port in engine oil flush same volume as engine oil tick over for say 15/30 min drain fix new filter and 5w/40 oil full syn I got 380 to 300k out of so many vans that way the yearly service was carried out as well by garage but that oil change and clean really helped alas I'm 69 now and climbing under cars is pushing it now anyway back to pressure sensor have purchased new 1 will fit next week and see this problem has only appeared this ladt week when ticking over at working temp I know 100000miles produces wear and oil can travel around easier but 5 garage guys have all said it sounds so smooth and no leaks or strange noises People go oh 100000 miles but I got that of petrol and diesel vehicles back in late 70s 80s 90s and more things are so light and plastic now and with saving plant so much has been bolted on ice engines now more to go wrong .would lo e to hear from somebody with same problem as mine with a peugeot expert van 16 plate 2ltr diesel .
