Hi
Hoping someone can possibly assist or give advice have drivers side front electric window the mechanism is jammed / snapped cables need to replace the regulator but can't find a way to manually lower the window to allow access to the window glass bolts to remove the glass so I can remove / replace the regulator anyone have any ideas on a solution the glass is firmly up

It would have involved door card removal and weatherstrip sheet removing to gain access to the internals of the regulator.

Had to undo the 3 bolts that hold regulator and motor in situ drop the regulator to bottom of door which dropped the window 6 inches then mark where the 2 screws are that hold the glass to regulator then refit the regulator to move glass back up drill the marked points then undo regulator to bottom of door panel again and undo the 2 torx screws through the newly drilled holes and then push window up tape it in place to remove regulator and fit a new one obviously have to remove door card weather strip and water seal membrane first
