At what point does the cambelt need a change on a 1999 1.8 306 XS?

If there is no paperwork saying its had a recent cambelt change with the car, I would have the cambelt replaced very quickly.
Nearly all Peugeot engines that snap the cambelt normally take out most of the valves too, Very expensive!
The recomended cambelt change is 72K miles, But I would half that to be on the safe side to 36K miles, Ive had a 2 litre 16 valve Pug 406 snap the belt at 40K miles, Full Pug service history, Thank god it was a warranty job! Bent 11 valves too!

Even if the mileage is low, the belt is five years old.
Time for a change, now!
