Unread post by Conchur »

Hi All

Can anyone tell me what the interval is for a timing belt and water pump on a 2019 Citroen relay with the 2.0 blue hdi 110 engine

You'll need to provide your VIN. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

I don't want to start a new topic, does anyone knows the service interval info for the timing chain and tensioner (in the cylinder head between the camshafts)? Same 2.0Blue HDI engine with 160HP (DW10FUC). I think I heard some tapping noises from the top of the engine at idle and lower revs under 2000rpm. The tapping is intermittent.

Unlikely there's a specified interval for the chain - it's supposed to last the life of the engine...but I suppose if it breaks that will be the life of the engine! If there's any doubt then it would probably be worth changing it.
