Good morning everyone, my Jumpy II, with 85,000 km, started giving me the error of possible clogging of the DPF filter in the summer. After about 1000km of long journeys the light went off. After a few months, the warning light came on again on most busy city routes. I would like to get an economical lexia3 interface to force the cleaning of the DPF filter. Do you have any of those $50 ones that definitely work for this procedure? the mechanic asked me €50 but if I start having to do the cleaning every 2 months the cost becomes too high for me. I tried driving for half an hour at 70km/h in 3/4 gear but the light didn't go off.

You misunderstand I think on what a 'forced regeneration is for'. Forced regeneration should not be used frequently as it can damage the engine components due to the very high temperatures generated during this operation. This is partly due to the absence of any cooling effect from air flow that would normally occur when regeneration takes place with the vehicle driving.
Have you actually considered that the particle filter may actually need cleaning - and by this I mean using special chemicals to clean it out, not forcing a regeneration. I can advise you that if the filter fails to regenerate multiple times during normal use and even when going for an uninterrupted long drive in lower gear to help increase the exhaust gas temperatures, then the filter may already be beyond the ability to regenerate if it is anywhere 70%+ blocked.
Proper cleaning may be your only solution.
Back to your question of diagnostics, I do not recommend a cheap interface as many of these cheap ones are missing crucial hardware components and will not talk to all the modules on the car. Anything under £100 may not be a genuine full-chip unit. Don't forget you'll also ideally need a dedicated diagnostic laptop too.
