C5 Mk1 - front wheel balance weights fouling hand brake bracket
Something to look out for. The photos show the balance weights fitted, in 2018, to one of my front 16in alloys. They show the alloy corrosion caused by the "knock on" weights. Moreover, you can see a line of polished metal, which corresponds to the polished metal on the handbrake guide bracket on the suspension leg. That bracket is properly secured. The weights appear particularly proud, but still, the gap between the wheel rim and suspension leg structures must be very small!! The same garage will be fitting new tyres (to loose wheels) and I have insisted they use adhesive weights.

Good point, I never have liked hammer on weights on alloy wheels.
