I just want to introduce myself, I am Florian, based in Northern Germany and my wife and I have a Citroen C4 1.6 HDI, and a DS5 BlueHDI 180. Both cars have about 200k km on the odo, and are basically very reliable cars. I love the looks of my DS5, the quality of the interiors is great (leather, alcantara), even the plastics feel and look fine, the diesel motor is great. I love the power curve, which is different to a VW TDI in my opinion. I usually do the oil changes by myself. The only nightmare is the suspension, even though it's not the very first series, it's just crap. Compared to my former Mercedes C-Class C240, it rides like a DDR-Truck. Mercedes in the old days was ace in regards to suspension. It had the Sports Edition and had the perfect mix of sporty handling and comfort...
I am a car and bike guy and a tinkerer, I also love RC models. Like that I often try to solve problems by myself. There is not so much information about the DS5 available, so that's why I registered here.
