i have a 2019 1.6hdi berlingo van was just wondering if the egr valve is taking gasses before or after the dpf and adblue injector?

It would take gasses from the exhaust before the DPF & adblue injector

It's used to reduce NOx gases by cycling the gasses back through the engine air intake when commanded to do so, which is therefore before they get to the catalyst or DPF as said above.
