Loose wires near negative battery terminal - Boxer van

Hi,

I spotted an unconnected negative wire and an electrical connector of some kind hooked up to the battery of my boxer van (2022).

Anyone know what they are for?

So after a bit more digging I found a plausible answer online..

"It's a cable for additional vehicle battery connection for ambulances and other conversions"

If anyone knows different please let me know! ":)
