Bonjour!

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Bonjour!

Unread post by HansH »

Hello everyone,

My first post on this magnificent forum. I've been a member for somewhat over a year now but never came round to actually posting something.
A little introduction:
My name is Hans, which probably hints towards the fact that I'm a Dutchman. (no not German :-D )
I've been driving Citroen ever since I acquired my license, it was a Citroën Axel donated by my grandfather. And ever since the virus has struck me. Part from some short diversions with a Peugeot, Renault 5, Renault 4, Opel (Vauxhall in the UK I think) and god help me a Lada Niva 4x4, my range goes from 2 CX's, 3 Xantia's, an XM, 2 Berlingo's, 2 C5's mk1, till my present C5 (x7) 2.7 HDi.

Besides that, I have a classic Peugeot 404 familiale from 1969 as a "hobby car" (just a year younger than myself btw ;) )

Through these years I've gathered some experience, especially on the Xantia and C5, and I hope to share that experience here! I'm not a very experienced mechanic, in fact I'm a joiner by trade, but as we all know: a live time of Citroen will make anyone at least an average database on the brand

Furthermore, although I live in Holland, I also have a little cottage in the north-east of France where I spend half a year on average. Lovely place, nice countryside and a lot of DYW to be done...

So that's me, in a nutshell. Looking forward to participating!
