Old Fashioned Alternator & Starters repairs and reconditioning.

We have a 2010 C5 x7 2.0HDI VTR+. I am selling it to a mate and wanted to stop the alternator rattle before he purchases it.
I have done all the suspension joints, engine mounts, offside driveshaft and timing belt and water pump so the car is worth keeping for the longer term.
I broke my tools trying to undo the Alternator Pulley.
it was beyond my physical capability and experience.
I took the alternator to Bexley Starters and Alternators and they removed the old pulley and fitted the new one and freed up the alternator (they were not happy with the running) and tested it for £30.
Had my Alternator failed they could supply for £175 which is a reasonable price for the car.
They did the job whilst I waited.
They are located in Bexleyheath.
I have not seen such a company since the 20th Century.
I would recommend them for Alternator Issues.
The premises is a shop with a convenient layby but it is in the ULEZ Zone. Well worth the payment to get a job like the Pulley on an alternator changed.
