Hi
Trying to programme a new key,got a ten digit code from Citroen. I assume it would be the last 4 numbers but not recognised by BSI.
Any help greatly appreciated.

I think you have the incorrect code. There are several codes - one is the key code (serial number for the actual cut key) and the Confidential customer code used for programming a new fob to the BSI.

I suspect they have literally given you what you asked for.

If you wanted the Confidential Customer Code then that is what you need to ask for and may have to provide proof of ownership, V5 and some ID with address etc., and possibly part with some cash circa £25, depending on the dealer and how generous they feel.

What codes have you been given?
If it has HCA followed by numbers this is the mechanical key number for cutting the blade.

Evening only just seen these
It is the HCA number.
We did say it was for programming when we called into the dealer.

The HCA number is the mechanical cutting code
