2002 C8 alarm

Hi all,

My c8s alarm keeps going off randomly. It's a 2002. I've tried pulling a fuse that claims to be for the alarm siren but it's still going off and I think my neighbours are getting sick of it. Any ideas as to how to stop it?

If I could find the siren I'd be tempted to just unplug it but I don't know where it is.

Any pointers gratefully accepted.

It will likely be the siren module itself - the battery has reached end of life, so will keep treating this as a cut in power and triggering the alarm. Seeing as it's 22 years old, it's probably done a good job. The siren is located in the front Right Hand Wheel Arch, so will be located behind the wheel arch trim most likely. The Alarm control unit is behind the dashboard.
