Hello,
I'm hoping some here can point me in the right direction.
Some time ago I had an ad blue dosing issue which caused my DPF to block. I've resolved this issue but my DPF has never been the same. I've had it cleaned now and it was fine for short time but started to play up again last week. Coming up with the warning light telling me the filter is potentially blocked. Yesterday I topped up the pat fluid as I'm trying to rule out different causes straight after I topped up the fluid the car went Into limp mode and has stayed in that mode for the last 24hours any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

Re: DPF in limp mode
Well, I'm not surprised, as the Adblue additive is for the SCR system and has nothing at all to do with your DPF.
Eolys additive is for the DPF for assisted regeneration, Adblue is for the catalyst and is for the SCR system.

Re: DPF in limp mode
I've got fault codes both point to the dpf being blocked I'm looking at a exhaust pressure monitor next. It's just shocked me how quickly it's gone into limp mode so quickly after refilling the Pat Fluid

What vehicle do you have? My DPF has been warning me for ages that it's due to be blocked, what a load of crud.

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: DPF in limp mode
DPF faults don't normally give limp mode, but if it's really blocked, then excessive back pressure might be limiting performance. What actual codes have you got? What is the live data showing?

All I have is a code reader so faults are as follows
P246c
P24A4
P246C P
P24A4 P
The actual DPF was only cleaned two weeks ago

And not a single one of those relates to emissions. Those are all related to vehicle speed regulation (cruise control / speed limiter).
When the DPF was cleaned, was the engine ECU told that a new DPF was fitted? If not, it won't know it has been replaced.
