Gear linkage cable ends

Hi All,

Quick question regarding replacement of gear selector linkage cable ends on the C3 Picasso 1.6 HDi.

Does anyone know if these are available or does the complete cable assembly need to be replaced?

Odd one this, as they are generally available as replacement cables - but it may be this has a convoluted attachment to the gear lever that necessitates a complete unit replacement.

At least you have the part number to search on though. That price is retail and VAT inc. from the dealer.

Just had another look at the one for the 5-Speed and it's the same: This is a 2400LP and these too are a complete unit Pete. It seems they have some sort of Carlos Fandango fittings that are pre-assembled just below the gear selector, probably making cable replacement impossible.
