There are two cargo fastening eyes behind rear seat, left and right, and those are also keeping the rear trunk floor panel attached?
How to remove those/ how to remove rear trunk floor panel?
Also, are the left and right bolts for rear seat back parts under that rear trunk floor panel?
How to remove rear seat back parts?
I would like to remove rear trunk floor panel, and rear seat back parts. Would be easier to wash those, and all carpet parts, with water-vacuum-cleaner. Previous owner had dogs and or kids, and did not take care of the interior. So there is "s**t" in every place and interior stinks like s**t.
2008 C5 X7 Tourer, how to remove rear trunk floor panel/floor lid?

To get the boot carpet out, you'll need to undo the bolts and remove the hooks as shown:
First lift the cover at (1)
Remove the exposed Bolt (3)
Remove the Hook (2)
You may need to carefully use a steamer if the smell is that bad, to get into the carpet fibres and kill off the bacteria causing the smell.
