Changed the gaiter on the rear shock of Sylv's Peugeot on Thursday and now there is a distinct noise when going over speed humps that wasn't there before.
I'm left wondering if it needs some kind of lubrication where it slides over the shock as the shock articulates.
They say, "If it ain't broke don't fix it!" but it was broke, I have fixed it and it's still broke so I haven't technically fixed it.
Very bizarre!
Any ideas, anyone?
Read a post about a 207 who asked where it should be cable tied but I don't think they were originally.
What is the torque required for the top two bolts for the top of the shock absorber aluminium bracket?
