Hi folks.
I think my nearside driveshaft seal is leaking, looking on Citroen parts it either comes as part of a metal bracket that bolts to the box for around £50 (300934), or just the seal itself for around £10-20 (312144 / 1608816780).
I suspect buying the complete metal bracket version with the seal correctly fitted is the sensible option, but with the box in situ would it even be possible to remove it? As in.. is it held to the rest of the gearbox with sealant? Although presumably even if you wanted to just replace the seal I suspect you still need to remove the metal part as well to get to it?
