My front Wipers are not working. I get all other functions on the stalk, I have checked the switches are working with a scan tool, taken the motor out and ran it on the bench to confirm that all works.
I had an auto electrician come out and he advised a new engine fuse box should sort the problem out. He checked for any breaks in the wires from the stalk switch, BSI, fuse box to wiper motor. I replaced the old fuse box and turned the wipers on but they only worked on full speed. I left the car locked for around 10 minutes, come back to it and suddenly they had stopped working again.
ATM I have wired up my own switch direct to the wiper motor just to get me out of trouble lol.
Does the BSI send power to the relays in the engine fuse box to the turn on the wipers?
I have done 2 BSI resets and 2 COM2000 resets with no joy!
I am at a lost ATM and any help would be great!!
