I have a STT 6-Speed Piloted Manual transmission, MCD Manual Gearbox according to the documentation for my C5 X7 2012 DV6C.
Why is it asking, and if I was to choose, which one, if any, would it be.
It lags when moving from 1st to 2nd, not in the display but in actual engaging the clutch. No problems in any other gears.

What function are you in and what are you trying to do - be very careful as if you make any changes you can't undo them without changing them back.
It should auto detect the VIN and therefore the equipment on the vehicle after you have completed a Global Diagnostic, but as for those transmissions, you have none of them - those are all fully Auto boxes, except CFC300P which is a semi Auto - but may not be the one you have.
