508 2.0 blue Hdi engine

Hello All,

I was looking on mobile site to some pug508 from 2019..2020 and I see on some that the output power is 163hp. It is the same engine DW10CTED4 like on C5 III or is something wrong? I'm a little confused about the 2.0hdi euro 6 hdi engine on 508.

It might be the same as on the C5. When the engine was changed to Euro 6 specification the DW10CTED4 power dropped to 150bhp. The engine type also changed, the DW10CTED4 gained a letter to distinguish it I think? I'm sure others know for sure.

Interestingly when mated with an auto box I've seen the power quoted at 180bhp. Perhaps not every case?

That engine has a new designation, it will be a DW10FCC (163) Euro 6.2 or a DW10FC (180) Euro 6.2.

There was an earlier DW10FD (150) which was Euro 5.

Thanks for clarification. The engine code is EHY if I'm not wrong but seems totally different on intake and cam cover compared with RHH engine. I'm more interested by reliability of this engine but very few infos on google.

Yes, correct EHY is for a DW10FCC (163)
