C5 Aircross: Activate eco mode automatically on start up?

Good morning everyone,

is there any way to automatically active the eco mode (from the eco button) when the car starts?
I am even thinking about adding some electronic component which simulates a button press but was hoping for an easier way.

No. It defaults to standard driving mode each time the vehicle is started.

I'd strongly recommend you do not add any outside electronics / wiring to the vehicle or you you can interfere with the advanced multiplexed electronic architecture of the vehicle and this can cause a world of pain...

Should be relatively easy to just get some +12V after the engine starts, for a few seconds, to simulate a button press.

But yes, I would rather find a different approach as well
