My Peugeot 508 SW GT (2016) has a heads-up display which is supposed to pop up when you start the engine.
It sometimes doesn't pop up.
Can anyone recommend some kind of user intervention ? Silicone grease...
It's right up on the dashboard close to the windscreen and pretty difficult to access.

I wouldn't put anything like that in there as there are sensitive components and switches in there that may not react well to that and also may damage the screen and projection screen.
It needs a diagnostic to determine if one of the positioning switches is faulty or it may just have a loose connection at the plug.
