DS7 Drivers side door touch lock not working.

2019 DS7 Rivoli

The drivers side door doesn't open or close using touch. The other three doors and hatch all work perfectly as they should.

Searching the forum suggests that it is almost certainly a failed handle sensor and the only solution is to obtain a new door handle.

Is this correct?

Not necessarily. Sometimes they can right themselves on their own, and other times it may require a new sensor, or indeed may actually be the Hands-free control unit.

Try the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure first, making sure the vehicle is unlocked of course and pay attention to the timings. Won't cost anything to try.
