Update SMEG6.1.D.R19 to SMEG6.4.A.R10

Hi, I have a 2016 Citroen C4 1.6 BlueHDI EAT6. Its SMEG version is 6.1.D.R19 and CD: 30489.

After extensive research, I learned that these units have Carplay, but it is not activated, and the Carplay buttons are unavailable. I found an example that matches my situation:

C4 2015
Old SMEG: SMEG6.05.D.R8 CD:30248
New SMEG: SMEG6.4.A.R10 CD:31210
After much effort, the authorized service installed the new SMEG software on my car. Following the update, Carplay and Mirrorlink buttons appeared. Then, they were activated using Diagbox 9.41.

I visited two different authorized services for this process. Both refused to update the SMEG. So here I am. I found the 6.4.A.R10 update that contains Apple Carplay and installed it on a USB flash drive. I have seen that this update process can cause some errors that need calibration. What happens if I proceed with this update? If I do this and there are no problems, I can tell the authorized service that I just need activation. However, if I encounter problems after the update, I won't proceed. Please help me with this.
