Hello everyone.
For my Peugeot Boxer from 2008 with PUMA engine and FIAT technology ( VIN VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] ) I would like to buy from tools4car Lexia 3 with the newest Diagbox to be able to use DiagBox for further troubleshooting. The eLEARN software that I use from Fiat is great, but is not helping me with my problem at the moment.
A BSI (M010) from Visteon (DCU 102) is installed.
I have installed DiagBox Vers. 7.57, the software is activated, can be used offline and is sufficient for my old Boxer.
File: "Diagbox7_XP32 - 7.57.7z"

I have information on possible changes to the wiring for the required adapter S.1279.
However, Mark from tools4car confirms that some Peugeot models do not communicate with DiagBox if they do not have a BSI from the PSA group.
My main concern is to solve a problem with the air conditioning system (is tight). I will provide further details in a new post.
It would be great if someone could clarify the DiagBox problem so that I could use it or possibly tell me which inexpensive diagnostic system could be used as an alternative. Many thanks in advance.

These vans and most commercial PSA vans require an add-on module (S1279) to properly work, like this:

Can the linked module be used directly for my old Boxer, i.e. without changing the internal wiring? Some forum posts suggest that the cabling needs to be changed.

I'm not aware of any such requirement, and I doubt the Chinese interface cloners would make a unit that needs re-wiring to work....
I suggest you contact one or more sellers about that so at least if there's an issue you can just return it if it fails to work, but these units are only generally needed for commercial vans and Fiat vehicles like the Citroen Nemo / Peugeot Bipper for example.
I've never needed to use one personally, so can't advise on this issue. But I should say there are clones and there are clones - so there may be differences between the cloners!
