DS5 Hybrid 4: Suspension part numbers

Post by eliezedeck »

Hi,

I'd like to request parts for the following part numbers in my DS5. I'm only giving the photo because I'm not sure how they are called:

Here is the first one, from the transmission to the wheel:

Direction rod (it has a slight play which has amplified noise on bad road conditions):

Silent bloc in the piviting arm (it is starting to show signs of wear). I think there is another part in the other side, I would also like the part number of the rubber bushing.

If there are other parts that need regular replacing also, I'd like those. I live in Madagascar where the road conditions are generally bad, like, really bad.

Thank you.

That is the drive shaft outer CV joint Gaiter:

Item 3 - part no 3293C7 at £56.33 In the UK. These should be easily available from other sources and are usually easier to fit!

it's usually the track rod end that wears first (item 5), but they can develop play in the inner joints (3) - these are more difficult to change!

Track rod end 3817A5 (£118.78) or cheaper 1682733580 (£35.92)

Track arm 3812F7 ( £114.54 ) or cheaper 1635770880 (£42.41)

Rear bush (10) - 352392 (£15.31)
Front bush (9) - 3523CW (£18.91)

Garages will often just replace the whole arm, as the bushes are difficult to get out and the extra labour is not justified (but the Citroen price is nearly £500, so maybe not here!). For bad roads I would avoid cheap aftermarket parts however!

Quite often when you get these apart you find play in the bottom ball joint (7) - 9817375080 (£45.91) or Cheaper 1610938280 (£26.41)
